Who designed the toppers?
The toppers were designed by Alison at Icing On The Cake based in Cannock Staffordshire and are all made to a very high standard.
How big are the wired toppers?
All the wired toppers are approximately 5" tall.
How deep is the posy pick?
The food-grade posy pick that you insert into your cake is 3" deep.
How do I use the topper?
All you have to do to use the topper is to decide where you want it and then push it down into your cake. The toppers are suitable for cakes sized 4" / 6" / 8" / 10" / 12" of any shape.
Can I order the item in different colours?
If you are choosing a Ready To Go item then only the stock shown on the page is available. If you are ordering a Made To Order topper then you choose the colours when you add the item to your cart.
How long will it take for my order to get to me?
All cake toppers are made to order and you need to allow 7 to 10 days for your cake topper to arrive.
How is my order sent to me?
All orders are sent by 1st class recorded delivery and must be signed for.
How do I pay for my order?
All online orders are paid for using the Paypal secure payment website. We don't take card payments over the phone. If you would prefer NOT to pay online you can telephone your order in and then pay by cheque or postal order.
Does your company recycle?
We use food-grade recycled packaging wherever possible.
How will I know that my order has been accepted?
You will receive a confirmation email. Please note that there can be delays of 2 or 3 days before you receive the confirmation during busy times and at weekends. If you don't receive your confirmation order please check your spam folder as occasionally emails will be diverted there.
Can the wired toppers be eaten?
No they can't be eaten. Although they are made of icing you must NEVER eat anything that has had a wire inserted.
If I order a spray of roses or flowers how long will they last for?
As long as they are kept in the correct conditions they will keep for a while. They must be kept out of sunlight and away from heat sources, damp and insects.
How is my order packaged?
Each order is very carefully packaged to minimise the risk of damage in the post. If your order is damaged it must be received back at Icing On The Cake before a refund can be given.
Are you registered with the Department of Health?
Icing On The Cake is registered with Cannock Chase District Council and has been given the highest rating of 5 stars.
How long have you been doing this?
Alison has been designing and decorating cakes and making cake decorations since 1991.
I've got a idea for my own topper for my wedding/celebration. Can you make it for me?
We'll do our best. Please telephone the workshop to discuss your requirements. Please avoid between 3pm and 5pm on weekdays and all day Friday as it's very busy.
Can I collect the item in person?
Sorry no. Due to high volume of work personal collections are not allowed
